The 12th National Conference on Complex Networks (CCCN 2016) was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province during October 14-17, 2016, hosted by the Professional Committee of Complex Networks and Complex Systems of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics and hosted by the Institute of Complex Systems of Shanxi University. The conference will closely focus on the international academic frontiers of complex systems and networks and related fields. Conference topics mainly include (but are not limited to):
